We are delighted to share our catering menus with you. From morning breakfast baskets and freshly brewed coffee to casual feasts, and elegant hors d’oeuvres, these pages are filled with fresh and contemporary menus.
These represent only a starting point, however. Our commitment to you is to customize menus as needed for any occasion. Whatever your event: a breakfast meeting, a faculty luncheon, a retirement party, you will find that we offer fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. We would be pleased to help you design a menu for your next event.

Even if the date of the event is only tentative, we ask you to please make arrangements with our catering department so that we can at least get you on our calendar. Catertrax, our new on-line catering system adds convenience and control. To get started with the on-line ordering you may give our office a call so we can walk you through the appropriate process in creating your on-line account with this service. You can also go to our website to locate our how-to’s and on-line menus. Catertrax will allow you, our guests, to save and review order history, place recurring orders. You can also view your favorite menus here without re-keying. Catertrax will provide on-line documentation for every step of the process.
Catering arrangements and menu selection should be confirmed within THREE business days of your event. While we can sometimes accommodate your needs with less lead time, sufficient notice allows us to schedule production, staffing, and place appropriate orders for your event.
After we have finalized all the details of your event, you will receive an electronic event order to confirm. Please carefully review all information on this electronic event order for accuracy and completeness before confirming. Make any necessary changes, if any, and return to us THREE business days in advance of the event.
Whether on or off campus the event location needs to be reserved before we can confirm any catering orders for your event.
Sodexo staff is responsible for reserving space for Jazzman’s 1780 Café, and the Rafskellar. All other reservations need to go the appropriate channels on campus before confirming with us. Contact the Physical Plant Office at extension 8211 to arrange tables, chairs, trashcans, and other equipment necessary for your event. When reserving the location please allow THREE hours or more for set up and a minimum of TWO hours for clean up.
All cancellations and/or changes referring to the menu, guest count, and event arrangements must be confirmed THREE business days prior to the date of the event. Functions cancelled with less than THREE business days notice will incur a charge of at minimum half of the original order. We will prepare for the estimated number and charge accordingly should a final count not be confirmed.
All catered functions must be secured by payment before they occur. University Fund, Purchase Orders, Departmental Accounts, Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express are all valid payment methods. Non-University related groups are required to make a deposit of 50% TWO weeks prior to their event with the balance due on the day of the event.
Non-University groups are subject to 18% gratuity and sales tax of 6% for all food events. Tax exempt organizations are required to submit a copy of their exemption certificate prior to their event to be exempt from tax on the final charge.
